JEE Main percentile kaise calculate hota hai — how is the percentile calculated?
NTA uses a normalization formula: your percentile = 100 × (number of candidates who scored equal to or less than you in your shift) ÷ (total candidates in your shift), calculated to seven decimal places. This adjusts for difficulty differences across shifts. Your raw marks do not directly give your rank — the percentile does.
JEE Main mein kitne attempts milte hain — how many attempts are allowed?
JEE Main can be attempted in any number of consecutive years after Class 12 under the current rules, with two sessions per year. JEE Advanced allows a maximum of two attempts in two consecutive years. Confirm the current attempt rules in the official information bulletin for your cycle.
